What to buy??

When we buy beauty products, we spend twice or even more than that of our decided budget, most of the time we get a bad deal for our money. I feel embittered when a brand talk big in advertisements and you only realize what a cheater they are only after spending good money. These big brands cajole you into buying their products and you get nothing but frustration in return.
But….. my lucky stars are shining the brightest :).

I have found a wonderful and cheap body lotion CHARMS in INA market. Earlier I had bought DOVE body lotion for INR 280, and I think it is 250 gm and this cream is nothing but waste of money. After putting the cream if you scratch your skin you will still see marks made by your nails. This means, your skin is not completely hydrated or soft.
So I decided to buy this other cream about one litter, printed price of the cream is INR 135, which I got at a discounted price for INR 70. I was little hesitant about using this cream, as it was so cheap, so I applied it on my feet only. The other day I gained bit more courage and used it on my legs, and this lotion is just fantastic. My skins become so soft. Now, I am using it everyday. Infact, my sister has also got one for herself.

I think all these big brands spend hell lot of money on advertisements and then suck all that money from, us, consumers. The brands which are unknown, don’t advertise, are cheap and are good quality too. You just have to check out the market, each shop, buy such products in small quantity and give it a shot. You never know you can hit the jack pot like I did :).

So thumbs down to, five times costlier, DOVE; and big round of applause for CHARMS.

This isn’t funny; you Stupid Client of mine!

Angry Bella

Yesterday one of my clients came to Delhi. We have fixed a few media interactions for him. Since I service that account I had to coordinate for all this. Well, the interactions went well. However, that client of mine put is best efforts to annoy me.
Today is going to some place to unwind him self by doing yoga, till week end, and invited me to that place. So I declined politely. When the interactions were over, it was late evening, he insisted to drop me home in his car.
He asked if I will like to have dinner with him, which I again declined. But he went on to say, I shall call you and you can join me for dinner. So I said I have some other engagement, therefore, I am afraid I will not be able to join you. Thank god he did not call me!
However, he sent me a sms around 8:30pm some stupid joke, which we used to crack in call five, but I did not reply. Even this could not break his spirit and he sent the same sms to me next day with a good day note added to it. Finally I sent a thank you and same to your, sir sms.
Suddenly I received reply of the coverage I have sent him about two weeks back. And of course he highly appreciated me for my efforts. How funny, same email could not catch his attention a couple of weeks back
Any way I have discussed everything with my boss, who says that if this client gets out of control I have the liberty to shift from this account.
Curse you (client)! I was doing all the research, tracking the trends and now these stupid traits of your will make me handover everything to someone else……

I am loving it :)

I am writing after a long long time. All this time I was too busy with personal and professional life of mine. On personal front my parents are talking about my marriage with my boyfriend. My parents have met my beau’s mother and sisters. So one can understand how busy I must have been.
On professional side I have shifted from financial and life science PR team to technology team. Well, though I am more than excited to handle tech. clients, nevertheless, I don’t know anything about technology. I am a tech moron, as my BF calls me, and all this time I was happy that I know how to send /read an email or how to chat [where to chat ;-)] and a little bit about bloggin. However, now it seems, I have to work hard. Learn about technology atleast about the things in which my clients operate. I used to get bore whenever my beau try to teach me or talk about technology. But yesterday I asked him to help me understand what data centre is?

All in all a lot of things are happening in my life…and so far I like it.

Hey do you know ..Sporshi Is COMMITTED ?? :)

In Love

Today while checking orkut, as always, I sneakily looked at Sporshi’s account. First thing which pleasantly surprise me was her status; COMMITTED. I could not hold back my curiosity and wrote a scrap to her; “oyeee... ur committed?? u did not even tell me...;-) enjoy.`` Then I pinged her on Gmail instantly “ Hey Ru committed?” and then I rushed to her workstation.
*Now you know how inquisitive I am* ;-)
Sporshi and I had a lengthy conversation after a pretty long time. She told me about this “Wonderful Assamese Guy”. She was blushing and shyly smiling when taking about him, and the very next moment boastfully and some what with proud showing his pictures.
We talked about how she met this guy, and how she is smitten by him. When do they plan to get engaged and get married? We talked out our differences as well. Once again we became friends.

I am happy to have her back as a friend and happier for her to get a guy of her dreams.

Pheww...these guys

Today morning Kunal and I were fighting on something. I snatched his cell phone and hid in the staircase behind the door. But these guys knew about it and rammed in there and started snatching away the phone from me. During this tug of war I dropped the stylus of his chic Motorola cell.

So, Kunal and Styam made me climb down to the weak sunshade which has become shrubby thanks to wild wines. Initially I got scared that it will break and I will fall off but these guys stood there staring at me so I had to climb on it. But it was fun, and I could find the stylus as well.

With friends like these I am not scared of enemies at all . :-)

Friends forever

This morning I got a g mail ping from a friend cum former colleague of mine. She wrote, “Hey! Even Kunal has put in his papers. What are you waiting for?” As soon as I read it, I rushed to Kunal and bombarded him with questions; " You did not tell me you have resigned! Where have you joined? When are you leaving?" i asked him. He took me to our usual hangout “The Staircase”. Initially, he was not forthcoming. But as he realised that there is no escaping without answering me; he finally gave up and confided into me. teddy bear
We discussed about all the offers he had, and decided which one was the best. After the meeting i was feeling a bit uneasy, the trouble is that i can't share these details with anyone, I can't even put it on my blog, because I have promised Kunal to keep things to myself only.

In the recent past, quite a few people have quit and more colleagues have put in their papers. Although new people are joining the team, all good friends are leaving the organization. In fact they too are asking me to change. But I am ambivalent about leaving this place and there are reasons. Sanna’s office is nearby so we have lunch together and return home together. My boss is a great writer, and he is helping me in improving my writing skill. I also share a good rapport with my boss and I am scared at the prospects of what if I get a bad boss in new office?

Well, as far as my shifting is concerned lets see what happens to it. But I am sure as hell that I am going to miss my friends.
